Recently I had the opportunity to speak to 2 couples who had recently gotten engaged. I met them at my cousin’s engagement party. The four of them are long time friends and in similar places in their lives. Both couples are in their late 20s and employed full time in mid level jobs. I had been introduced to them and we began a casual “get to know you” chat. Long Island Wedding Coordinator

Summer is a very busy time of year for everyone - and it’s no different for us, here at Town and Country Events. We are busy working as Long Island Wedding Coordinators for our clients out East. Our next happy couple to get married are Jack and Jaime. Their North Fork Wedding will be in Jamesport on July 12th.

Wineries are a big part of the North Fork. Jaime liked the idea of a vineyard wedding, but did not want to get married at the same couple of venues that many of her friends chose for their weddings. Together with Town and Country Events, the bride and groom were able to think outside the box and rent a small start up vineyard. This winery is so new, they haven’t built a tasting house yet. Because there are no buildings on the property, it is a unique natural setting - very beautiful. And Jack and Jaime will be the first to host an event there!!

Of course, the rustic setting has also added alot to the “to do” list. Along with all the usual components of regular wedding planning, many more details needed to be considered. That is the main reason Jaime hired Town and Country Events as her Long Island Wedding Coordinator. She wanted to be sure no details were overlooked.

So, through much planning, all arrangements have been made. We will be bringing in beautiful bathrooms, generators for electricity, a tent, tables and chairs. We have chosen bright colors for the linens and flowers. There is a wonderful menu in place. All the songs have been selected.

Jack and Jaime are looking forward to sharing their unique wedding with their family and friends. This wonderful day will be just the beginning of their wonderful lives together.
